Luke is an average 18 year old Year 12 student, who studies English, Biology, Health, Sport and Rec and Maths. He attends a small High School in Ocean Grove, a small coastal town south-west of Melbourne.
Every morning, Luke will wake up at 7:45 and checks his Social Media accounts, such as Facebook, and then progresses to make his way out of bed to get ready for school. As he lives 10 minutes away from the school, Luke will often drive in his 1996 Commodore Station Wagon, picking up his mates on the way. On the way to school, Luke will often call into the local milk bar or Coles to pick up something convenient to eat or drink, as well as some healthy snacks for throughout the day.
Upon arriving at school, Luke places his books in his locker, which is lined with photos of famous Girls from his much loved magazine “ZOO”, as well as photos of the Beach and Surf from his other favourite magazine “Surf Life”, along with photos that he has taken himself. He places all of his books in his locker, and makes his way to his classes.
At lunch time, Luke and his Mates generally kick the footy, or just sit down on the Footy Oval and chat up the numerous girls that go to their school. After lunch finishes, Luke makes his way to his next class (Maths), and does the minimal amount of work possible, but enough to just pass. Recess is also spent the way same way that he spends his lunch time.
After school, Luke and his mates will all climb into his car and collect their surfboards from each of their houses, and make their way to Torquay or Bells Beach for an afternoon surf. As he is an avid surfer, this is Luke’s most favourite part of the day. Luke and his Mates cherish the afternoon whilst making their way down to Bells by listening to their favourite bands, such as Little Red, Amy Meredith and These Kings Wear Crowns on their favourite station “Fox”, and having a laugh.

After having a surf and swim, Luke and his friends will make their way back to the car, and start to drive back home. When arriving home, Luke will have a quick shower and then get ready for dinner with his family. Luke sits down with his family at their dinner table, and have conversations of how their day went and how the surf was. Luke’s family is very tight-knit, and comprises of his Dad, Mum and Younger Brother. His younger brother is 16, and Luke gets along with him very well. They often go for a surf on the weekends, or will drive down to Torquay just for the day to enjoy the surf and beach culture.
